The second in a network of Vigilante Posts under development by restaurant group Rex Gryphon, the South Florida Vigilante Post is an interactive, multi-sensory experiential destination meeting place, dining haven and watering hole “where the art of food meets the art of survival”. The revolutionary restaurant story concept engages guests (aka survivors) with characters (aka vigilantes) and narratives as they indulge in a post-apocalyptic themed experience. Infusing a local feel, the post is named after the city’s own lead vigilante Rex Baron and is being customized with its own authentic vigilante art exhibits and related background stories.
“To disrupt and excel in an ever-evolving industry, we have mastered the REX: Restaurant, Entertainment Xperience at our posts by offering a high quality, healthy and delicious menu with a storied atmosphere that engages and stimulates,” shared hospitality industry veteran Michael Norris who leads the development of Rex Gryphon’s outposts. “Guests at Rex Baron will find a casual, upscale sanctuary where food, culture, community, interactive tech and ART survive and thrive. It’s where ‘urbanites’ are encouraged to create and share their own experiences, food and cocktails surprise and pre- or post-meal visits to the hi-tech VREX Lounge and HD Sports Hangar provide a variety of survivor escapes.”
Rex Baron’s menu features Modern American cuisine focused on quality, locally sourced ingredients; fresh vegetables, highest grade of organic meats, seafood, poultry and spice blends. The 8,200-square-foot restaurant, offering indoor and outdoor seating, will be in the Nordstrom wing in the Town Center at Boca Raton Florida.
